Blühendes Österreich & Urlaub & Ausflug 2027
Dedicated to tourism resources, destinations, and outbound travel services, attracting Austrian and European travel agencies and tourism organizations.
Blühendes Österreich is a gardening and outdoor lifestyle exhibition in Wels, Austria, centred on gardens, terraces and balconies, with the Urlaub & Ausflug travel and excursion show held concurrently.
It presents garden design, plant diversity, outdoor kitchens, pools, shading systems and garden furniture; visitors can talk with garden designers, get planning ideas, and gather inspiration, advice and shopping in one place.
Themed display gardens show garden landscapes and a garden café in evening lighting; the "Dreams of Faraway Places" garden features Tuscany, Cuba, Morocco and Ireland, with stage lectures, workshops, an herb kitchen and an amateur barbecue competition.
Garden design companies from Upper Austria take part, and a florist competition adds professional content. The previous edition drew more than 60,000 visitors, growth of around 4% on the edition before.

The fair takes place from 2 to 4 April 2027 at Messe Wels. Opening hours are 9:00-18:00 on Friday and Saturday and 9:00-17:00 on Sunday; admission is possible until half an hour before closing.
The fair is held in the Messegelände West of Messe Wels and occupies halls 20 and 21 as well as the outdoor area behind the halls. The parallel leisure fair Urlaub & Ausflug takes place in hall 20 at the same time. The site plan shows the exact layout.
Two fairs, one ticket: the day ticket covers admission to both Blühendes Österreich and Urlaub & Ausflug on the same day. A day ticket costs EUR 14.00 and a reduced day ticket EUR 12.00. Adult visitors arriving by public transport who show their ticket pay the reduced price of EUR 12.00 instead of EUR 14.00 throughout the fair (2 to 4 April 2027).
The fair offers an exciting supporting programme again in 2027. More details will be available from March 2027.
The fair presents a broad range of products for garden, terrace and outdoor living: from garden furniture, whirlpools, pools and pergolas to shading systems, outdoor kitchens, grills and innovative garden technology, as well as plants, herbs and rare varieties. Show gardens, expert advice and many new products for the coming garden season complete the range.
There is a dedicated exhibition area in hall 20, sector F, especially for newcomers. Dealers present selected leisure vehicles in various sizes and price ranges, including extensive rental options.
The Welser Volksfest takes place at the same time. Admission to the Volksfest is free of charge.
Arrival by bus and train is easy and inexpensive. Wels Linien buses run directly to the fairground: get off at Schwimmbad (Messe Wels). For train travel, plan your journey with the OÖVV timetable information or the OÖVV app.
Parking spaces are available in front of the halls and at the trotting track; the site plan shows exactly where the car parks are located. Arrival from all directions via the WELS WEST motorway exit is recommended. Address: Messe Wels GmbH, Messeplatz 1, 4600 Wels; for navigation devices please enter Maria-Theresia-Straße 32; the coordinates of Messe Wels are 14° 01' 05" East, 48° 09' 10" North.
The charging stations are located next to the Rotax hall (hall 19). Available connector: 11 kW. They are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
