The Yiwu Hardware and Electrical Appliances Fair, launched in 2015, is a specialised exhibition platform for hardware and electrical appliance products in Yiwu, organised by Yiwu China Commodities City Exhibition Co., Ltd., with four main zones for hardware tools, building hardware, electrical and electronic appliances, and labour protection products.
The fair presents hand tools, pneumatic tools, garden tools, abrasives and grinding tools, welding tools and tool accessories, as well as decorative hardware, building materials, fasteners, wire, nails and mesh, and locks and fittings. Its purpose is to build a hardware and electrical appliances exhibition platform and serve global industry trade, with an emphasis on professionalism, internationalisation and information technology, serving both international and domestic markets.
The fair provides domestic and overseas companies with a platform for image presentation, new-product promotion, trade negotiations and information dissemination, drawing on Yiwu's small-commodity trade and hardware industry base. Yiwu's market covers a total operating area of more than 6.4 million square metres, with 75,000 booths trading 26 major categories and 2.1 million individual items; more than 10,000 hardware and electrical appliance businesses operate in District 2 of the International Trade Market, and products are exported to more than 200 countries and regions.

A 3 x 3 sqm international standard booth is CNY 9,000 per booth; a standard booth with a column is CNY 5,000, one with a fire-hydrant column is CNY 4,800, and raw space is CNY 900 per sqm.
