SITEM 2027
Edition31 Focused on museum technologies, cultural tourism venues, and exhibition services, where exhibitors meet French and European museums, cultural tourism venues, and heritage project buyers.
SITEM is a specialised exhibition for museums and cultural venues, held in Paris, now in its 31st edition and organised around museum equipment, improvement and innovation.
It starts from understanding the museum as a whole, including its structure, operation, characteristics and evolution. As digitalisation, marketing and ticketing spread in museums, creating in-house resources becomes important and cross-sector cooperation grows.
It focuses on the interaction between museums and their regions: museums have become attractive gathering places and take part in local social life. SITEM connects public and private professionals from culture, cities, the economy, regions and tourism.
Content covers collections and heritage enhancement, collection management and conservation, sponsorship and public relations, and museology and scenography, with conferences, workshops and the SITEM Awards.
