Maker Faire Schweiz is a maker show for makers, inventors, technology enthusiasts and hands-on practitioners, held in Switzerland, centred on invention and hands-on practice.
The show is a platform for the maker movement, bringing together technology enthusiasts, craftspeople and educators and presenting maker projects and inventions through interactive projects, workshops and talks. Content covers 3D printing, laser cutting, Arduino and Raspberry Pi, electronics, IoT, artificial intelligence, robotics, smart home, model making, virtual reality, wearables, and sustainability and recycling.
The show addresses families, young people, schools, companies and visitors interested in hands-on creation, emphasising personal participation and open exchange; exhibiting maker projects, technology education and open-source hardware companies can interact with visitors on site, show their work and share making experience.
