Fête des Vins de Chablis 2026

Fête des Vins de Chablis is a wine-themed event around discovering and tasting wines from the Chablis appellation, held in Chablis, France, organized jointly by Chablis wine trade bodies and the Burgundy wine trade organization, bringing together enthusiasts, professionals, connoisseurs and wine beginners.

The event centres on Chablis wines at different appellation levels, offering tastings of vintages from around 40 estates and merchants in Chablis and Grand Auxerrois, and continues the new vintage baptism ceremony, where a guest of honour witnesses the release of the new vintage while looking back on the past year's performance and describing the new vintage's early flavour characteristics.

The programme also includes a Chablis column parade, local food stalls, vineyard walks and activities for children, combining appellation promotion, industry exchange and public participation; it suits wine traders, restaurant channels, wine tourism professionals and end consumers wanting to understand the appellation's style and the year's new wines. This is the 78th edition; the first was held in 1949.
