An annual continuing education congress for veterinary professionals, with lectures, an exhibition and professional networking.
The Finnish Veterinary Congress (Eläinlääkäripäivät) is an annual continuing education congress for Finland's veterinary profession. Organised by the Finnish Veterinary Association, with lecture content planned by its education committee, it is held in Helsinki, Finland.
The congress serves veterinarians, veterinary clinic staff, veterinary students, animal care professionals and pharmacy staff, covering scientific lectures, business and career development, meat hygiene, food hygiene and environmental health, production animals, small animals, equine animals and research.
Exhibition sectors include veterinary business and working life; production animals, food safety and environmental health; small animal and equine medicine; and veterinary medicine and healthcare.
The concurrent exhibition presents pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, instruments and pharmacological products related to veterinary medicine and attracts around 1,000 participants, providing a setting to showcase and discuss veterinary medicine products.
