MD&M West 2027 is a professional show for medical devices and advanced manufacturing, held in Anaheim, USA, integrating five sections - medical technology, automation, design and manufacturing, plastics and packaging - covering the manufacturing process from product development to volume production, packaging and supply chain.
The medical technology section brings together companies in cardiovascular care, medical device manufacturing and general healthcare; the automation section shows robots, sensors, motion control and automation systems; the design and manufacturing section focuses on 3D printing, CAD/CAM software and testing equipment; the plastics section centres on biocompatible polymers and processes such as injection moulding; the packaging section covers form-fill-seal, labelling, barcodes and protective materials.

Expo Hours: Tuesday, February 9, 2027: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2027: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2027: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Hall E opens 30 minutes earlier at 9:30 a.m. each day.
The main Registration and badge pick-up area will be situated in Hall E. Upon entering the Convention Center, proceed to the left side of the building and take the Escalator leading down. Registration desks will be conveniently located near the entrance of Hall E. For Exhibitor Badge information, please view the Exhibitor FAQs.
There are several concession stands located throughout the show floor. For exact locations of the concession areas, please view the Floor Plan in the Event Dashboard and mobile app. You can also find food trucks located in the Grand Plaza outside of the front entrance of the convention center.
Yes, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our renowned trade show in 2025, MD&M West, we changed the name of our umbrella event from Informa Markets Engineering West (IME West) to MD&M West. Originally co-located with ATX West, D&M West, Plastec West, and WestPack, we are breaking down the barriers into one unified event that features interconnected industry sectors such as MedTech, Automation, Design & Manufacturing, Plastics, and Packaging. Our special focus on your specialty is not changing. One MD&M unites a community of multiple special interests who all share a single goal – to advance their knowledge, contacts and progress in the world of high specification advanced manufacturing.

You can receive up to 10 badges per 10x10 booth upon arriving at the event. If you lose your badge, you can pick up a new one at any of our exhibitor service booths at the convention center. If you go over your 10 badge limit, however, there will be an additional cost for any extras.
