all about automation Friedrichshafen is a specialised trade fair for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation, held in Friedrichshafen, Germany and connecting users and decision-makers in the international Lake Constance region and beyond with automation component and system manufacturers, robotics solution providers, system integrators, digitalisation specialists, software suppliers, service providers and distributors.

The show centres on flexible automation and smart production for machines, systems and production, presenting products and solutions in control systems, robotics, the digital factory, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and safety and sustainable automation, where visitors can talk directly with exhibitors' technical and sales experts.

The previous edition brought together 534 exhibitors and 6,850 professional visitors, with exhibitor numbers up 26% year on year and visitor numbers up 21%, and used three halls for the first time. On-site features include Talk Lounge presentations, the Future Now! Hub, a start-up zone, themed tours and feature displays, with dedicated display opportunities for start-ups.

Co-located activities include hall tours focused on the Internet of Things and digitalisation, themed exhibition areas and product innovation displays, giving automation projects concrete references from control and robotics to the digital factory.
