Edition5 Showcasing smart cities, digital government and urban technology, connecting suppliers with ASEAN public-sector and enterprise clients.
SMART NATION EXPO is a professional exhibition in Malaysia for smart cities, digital innovation and urban transformation, organised around three themes - infrastructure and connectivity, fintech and the digital economy, and mobility and energy corridors - and bringing policymakers, technology companies, investors and innovators onto one platform.
The exhibition focuses on advancing digital infrastructure, SME digitalisation, cybersecurity and talent development, presenting products and technologies such as fibre and 5G, edge computing and IoT platforms, digital payments and open banking, blockchain registries, smart buildings, and transport and energy solutions, helping cities turn infrastructure investment into deployable services and business opportunities.
The event features industry summits and technology workshops where participants can exchange project experience and procurement needs with government agencies, urban planners, system integrators and technology suppliers. The exhibition brings together more than 7000 industry leaders, decision-makers, government representatives and innovators, with more than 200 exhibiting brands and companies and trade visitors from 44 countries and regions, plus more than 40 industry summits and technology exchange activities.

Smart Nation Expo is strictly open to trade professionals from the industry and invited guests only. Trade buyers can pre-register online and print their pass onsite using the QR code.
Visitors must complete the registration form before admission. Pre-registered visitors can print badges using their confirmation QR code; walk-in visitors may register at kiosks or counters with a business card.
Visitors must always display their admission pass inside the exhibition hall and may be asked to present identification before entry.
Minors under 18 are not permitted in the exhibition and conference halls; unauthorised distribution of materials is prohibited; visitors wearing slippers, sports sandals, shorts, bermudas or singlets will not be admitted; photography and videography are not allowed without prior notice.
The organisers are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of the physical event and running Smart Nation Expo in a sustainable manner.
