The 27th Shanghai International Ophthalmology and Optometry Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2027 (COOC) is a professional exhibition for the ophthalmology and optometry healthcare industry; since its founding in 1999 it has kept to "serving clinical practice", working to build an open, shared learning and exchange platform and forming an interactive model in which academic conferences drive the product exhibition.
The exhibition covers ophthalmic microscopic surgical instruments, laser scanning and treatment systems, ICG equipment, OCT products, intraocular lens implantation products, ophthalmic and optometric diagnostic and treatment equipment, AI equipment and software, and various pharmaceuticals and eye care products; it presents equipment and technology on site, with nearly 210 exhibitors taking part and 20000 doctor delegates and visitors attending.
The academic content retains classic sections such as the refractive surgery session, the international orthokeratology conference, the paediatric strabismus and amblyopia session, the neuro-ophthalmology and fundus imaging session, and the ocular surface session, and features a "Grand Ophthalmology Gathering" that promotes interdisciplinary dialogue through themed talks and summit forums.
Concurrent events include the forum on the development of private ophthalmic hospitals and optometry centres, the international forum on innovative development in blindness prevention and treatment, the international conference on AI applications and development in ophthalmology, and the Shanghai international symposium on new progress in presbyopia diagnosis and treatment, connecting ophthalmologists, hospital managers, distributors and agents, and industry practitioners.

The exhibition open dates are April 9 to April 10, 2027.
The event is held at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing, No. 2739 Guangfu West Road, Putuo District, Shanghai.
Visitors can take Metro Line 15 to Changfeng Park Station and walk about 400-700 m from Exit 3. Metro Line 2 Weining Road Station Exit 4 and nearby bus routes are also options.
Standard booths include three side panels, two spotlights, one information counter, two chairs, one 500W power socket, Chinese and English company fascia, and carpet. Raw space excludes this equipment and furniture. One-side corner booths carry a 10% surcharge, and two-side corner booths carry a 20% surcharge.
