The event is held from October 14 to 16, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight.
The show is open from 10:00 to 17:00 on all three days.
Food Development Exhibition is a professional food-industry event covering health, taste, safety and quality, and food long-life themes; in 2026 it consists of Hi Japan, FiT Japan, S-tec Japan and LL Japan.
The show is for food-industry professionals; visitors without business cards or those attending for reverse sales or sample collection are not admitted.
Advance visitor registration is recommended, with the visitor badge printed and brought to the venue to reduce waiting at registration.
The show mainly attracts people from product development and quality management departments of food manufacturers, with about 38,000 visitors expected.
Exhibitors typically need to decide exhibited products, booth decoration design, whether to provide tastings, any rental equipment, and whether to use sponsorship options or QR-code reader tools.
Both packages include the same items; the basic package provides simple basic decoration, while the special package provides a more finished special decoration.
The first application deadline is March 27 and the second is June 5; exhibitor manuals and document guidance are planned for mid-July, with application documents due in late August.
The LeadGrab app developed by Informa is available as a paid tool.
