The 27th Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo 2026

The Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo is a comprehensive agricultural fair founded in 1999 and held in Changsha. Designated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as the only four-star agricultural brand fair (comprehensive exhibition) permitted to bear the name "Central China" and to act as organiser, it is also Hunan's first agricultural expo certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and has run for more than twenty consecutive editions.

The fair organises content around showcasing agricultural achievements, developing modern agriculture, strengthening regional exchange, promoting international agricultural technology exchange and trade cooperation, and supporting rural revitalisation; it is a window on new agricultural technologies, products and achievements in central China and beyond.

The fair features several special zones, including grain and oil brands, tea brands, deep-processing branded products and brand marketing planning; fruit and vegetables, fresh produce, snack foods and the Agricultural Expo IP; livestock, aquaculture, frozen foods and seasonings; international (including guest country of honour), inter-provincial (including theme province), out-of-province county and medicinal-food homology; and Hunan city and prefecture image zones, with special displays such as frozen and refrigerated foods organised around the food ingredient supply chain.

Since its founding, it has hosted 32 participating provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), 280,000 exhibit categories and 280 billion yuan in transaction value, with more than 23 million visits; it has also built a professional buyer database, with more than 2 million buyers and professional visitors, and continues to play a role in showcasing agricultural achievements and promoting regional and international agricultural cooperation.
