INATRONICS is Indonesia's most influential electronics industry platform. With a population of over 278 million, Indonesia is the largest economy in ASEAN and one of the world's top five consumer electronics markets. The country's electronics industry is in a period of rapid growth; according to Gabel (the Indonesian Electronics Producers Association), domestic electronics sales increase by approximately 11% annually. Electronics manufacturing is shifting from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore to four Southeast Asian countries, with Indonesia being one of them. From January to September 2021, investment in the electronics sector grew by 7.8%, reaching IDR 59.4 trillion (US$4 billion). By September 2021, electronics exports had reached US$1.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 98%. From January to July 2022, electronics exports reached US$9.4 billion, a growth of 18.9%. The electronics industry is Indonesia's fourth largest contributor to exports.
