FILGUA is an important book and cultural fair in Guatemala, centered on publishing, reading promotion, author engagement and cultural programming. The fair serves families, students, teachers, publishers, bookstores and literature enthusiasts through book showcases, author signings, book launches, talks, workshops and children's reading activities.

The 2026 edition is the 23rd edition and will take place from July 7 to 19 at Fórum Majadas in Guatemala City. It continues FILGUA's annual book fair tradition, connecting the publishing community with public readers through international guests, cultural events and reading initiatives.
