Sao Paulo International Book Biennial 2026

The event is held from September 4 to 13, 2026 at Distrito Anhembi.

September 4 is 09:00-22:00; September 5-6 is 10:00-22:00; September 7-11 is 09:00-22:00; September 12 is 10:00-22:00; September 13 is 10:00-21:00. Except for the final day, access closes one hour before the event ends.

Visitors can use free accessible circular buses/vans from near Portuguesa-Tietê metro station to the venue. The nearest metro station is Portuguesa-Tietê on Line 1 Blue, about 1.5 km from the pavilion.

Teachers, librarians, printing companies and publishers can register for the free professional credential until August 25, 2026. To access the event, they must present the credential, a photo document and proof of connection to the book production chain.

Event policy prohibits disrupting event operations, unapproved commercial activity, smoking, illegal drugs, and items such as firearms, ammunition, knives, weapon-like objects, explosive or flammable objects, glass containers, drones, skateboards, wheeled shoes, oversized carts, folding chairs, selfie sticks and balloons.
