
The Licensing Expo China (LEC) is expected to cover an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, bringing together over 1,800 IP resources. These resources span a wide range of licensing categories, including animation characters, film and broadcasting, online literature, gaming and entertainment, sports and esports, cultural heritage and arts, trendy fashion, publishing, corporate brands, online video, fictional characters, celebrities, music, non-profit organizations, and higher education institutions.
This year's expo is expected to attract over 400 exhibitors, including Warner Bros., Tencent Video, iQIYI, Bilibili, *Honor of Kings*, NetEase Games, Bandai, the NBA, Giant Network, *A Bite of China*, Legendary Entertainment, *The Three-Body Problem*, BBC Studios, Alifish, Fantawild, Ubisoft, Blizzard, B.Duck, China Media Group (CMG), Bobdog, Nailong, Kule Chaowan, MINISO, Chenguang, Michelin, Yi Dian Dian, Wujie AI, and SenseTime. Additionally, numerous emerging IPs will make their debut at the event, creating new opportunities for collaboration.
During the expo, specialized buyer-matching sessions will continue to be held, focusing on key licensing sectors such as cultural heritage and museums, apparel, toys, cultural tourism, food and beverage, creative products, and retail. Supported by organizations such as the Shanghai Tourism Industry Association and the Shanghai Food Industry Association, this initiative aims to provide licensing professionals across various fields with channels for face-to-face interaction and to establish a professional platform for business matchmaking.
