Founded in 1990, the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair is one of the earlier and longer-running foreign trade and economic fairs in China. It has developed into an important platform focused on cooperation with Russia and Northeast Asia while serving broader international trade exchange, industrial matchmaking, and open cooperation.

Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair 2026 will be held from May 17 to 21, 2026 at Harbin International Conference and Exhibition Center. The main venue covers 55,000 square meters, features eight exhibition zones, and is accompanied by a series of events around industrial cooperation, investment promotion, international exchange, and tourism consumption.

Across its history, the fair has accumulated more than 1.6 million square meters of exhibition area, participation from over 110 countries and regions, and more than 6 million Chinese and international business attendees.

China-Russia Cooperation

Dedicated to China-Russia economic and trade cooperation, this zone focuses on bilateral industrial collaboration, trade matchmaking, and project exchange.

International and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Cooperation

This zone serves international exhibitors as well as participants from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, highlighting cross-regional cooperation, trade, and investment exchange.

Domestic Provinces and Municipalities

Brings together representative displays from provinces and municipalities across China, showcasing local industries, opening-up achievements, and regional cooperation projects.

Central SOEs and Leading Domestic and International Enterprises

Focuses on exhibits from central state-owned enterprises and leading domestic and international companies, presenting flagship industries, brand achievements, and cooperation resources.

Longjiang Revitalization

Showcases industries and development achievements tied to the revitalization of Longjiang, highlighting Heilongjiang's regional strengths, key projects, and cooperation agenda.

Green Food

Presents green food products and related industry resources, highlighting agricultural strengths, food branding, and consumption-oriented cooperation.

Light Industry and Electromechanical Equipment

Covers light industry products and electromechanical equipment, serving manufacturing support, equipment exchange, and trade matchmaking needs.

The expo is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and organized by the China International Import Expo Bureau and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
