
Founded in 1990, the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair is one of the earlier and longer-running foreign trade and economic fairs in China. It has developed into an important platform focused on cooperation with Russia and Northeast Asia while serving broader international trade exchange, industrial matchmaking, and open cooperation.
Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair 2026 will be held from May 17 to 21, 2026 at Harbin International Conference and Exhibition Center. The main venue covers 55,000 square meters, features eight exhibition zones, and is accompanied by a series of events around industrial cooperation, investment promotion, international exchange, and tourism consumption.
Across its history, the fair has accumulated more than 1.6 million square meters of exhibition area, participation from over 110 countries and regions, and more than 6 million Chinese and international business attendees.



The expo is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and organized by the China International Import Expo Bureau and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
These institutions jointly support event planning, venue operations, and international cooperation for the exhibition, forum, and supporting programs.
