VdS-FireSafety Cologne 2026 is a professional event for preventive fire protection and fire safety technology, presenting the full spectrum of equipment technology, and structural and organisational fire protection, covering sprinkler systems, fire protection technology and future fire protection.
The event combines an exhibition with a professional conference: several conferences provide technical information across fire protection fields, and the Future Fire Protection Forum discusses industry change and future technology directions; the exhibitor forum is open to all visitors, with exhibitors presenting products and solutions in 15 to 20 minute talks, often using the opportunity to unveil innovations for the first time.
An education and cooperation exchange area connects training and further education institutions with professional visitors; the 4th VdS-BrandSchutzTalk invites experts to discuss topics of industry interest in 90-minute sessions, free for all visitors; guided tours and live demonstrations are also arranged to help visitors take in innovative products.
The event includes 9 professional conferences and more than 100 presentations; the previous edition brought together around 200 exhibitors and attracted around 5,200 visitors from 32 countries.
