Chengdu National Defense Technology Industry Expo 2027 is based on the industrial and defence technology foundations of Sichuan and southwest China, and is built around defence technology industry collaboration, military-civilian integration applications and displays of advanced technology achievements. It is held in Chengdu.
Through long-term industrial development, Sichuan has formed a fairly comprehensive modern industrial system covering fields such as defence, metallurgy, machinery, power, electronics, aviation and aerospace, and has gathered a group of enterprises and research institutes focused on defence technology, providing industrial and research support for the expo.
The expo covers areas including advanced manufacturing, high-end equipment, aerospace technology and equipment, the industrial internet, industrial automation, robotics, drones, defence informatisation, military electronics and new materials. It attracts more than 500 companies to exhibit and participate and around 30,000 professional visitors, with a total scale of 20,000 square metres.
Running alongside are an opening ceremony and main forum, more than 10 themed forums and corporate technical exchange lectures, advancing the transfer of defence technology achievements, advanced manufacturing supply chain matchmaking and industry collaboration, and furthering the expo's international, professional and digital upgrading.
