2027 MATTER and SHAPE
A Home Decor, Interior Design and Furniture & Accessories salon for design buyers and retail buyers.
MATTER and SHAPE is a contemporary design show founded in Paris in 2024, held each year during Paris fashion week and focused on projects at the intersection of design, craft, interior architecture and fashion. Known for immersive scenography and strict curation, it gives design and fashion professionals space to discover work and make connections.
Starting as a virtual design platform, the show has grown into a design event for professionals, attracting an international audience of architects, interior designers, stylists, journalists and trend agencies, with more than 13,000 visitors.
Open to brands and creators of different sizes, it presents projects and products in design objects, interior design and decorative arts, with product categories including textiles, decoration, tableware, lighting, seating and tables. Its second edition coincided with the centenary of the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, honouring design tradition while presenting contemporary trends, and suits design brands, creators and professional buyers building connections.
