iMetro 2026

iMetro, the World Rail Transit Exhibition, is a professional exhibition covering the full rail and urban rail transit value chain, upgraded from the Guangzhou International Rail Transit Exhibition and touring Guangzhou and Shenzhen, focused on digital, intelligent and green transformation and infrastructure connectivity needs in Asia-Pacific, offering technology display, industry dialogue and project supply-demand matchmaking for the rail transit sector.

Themed "AI Empowerment, Green and Intelligent Innovation - Building a Sustainable Global Rail Ecosystem Together", the show covers rail, metro, tram, light rail and maglev systems and presents rolling stock and components, planning, survey and consulting, construction, infrastructure and electromechanical systems, operations and maintenance, AI and IoT applications and turnkey solutions, with a dedicated "Rail + AI" zone and forum presenting the integration of AI and rail transit.

The show is jointly organised by the China Railway Materials Circulation Association, Guangzhou Metro Materials Co., Ltd., the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Rail Transit Industry Federation and Guangdong Jucheng Exhibition Co., Ltd., and runs as an industry supporting activity linked to the rail transit international cooperation agenda of the Shenzhen APEC summit, organised around international cooperation and supply-demand matchmaking.

The 12th edition is expected to cover more than 40,000 square metres, with 10 themed zones, more than 500 companies and brands and more than 30,000 managers and procurement decision-makers from rail, urban rail transit, government authorities, rolling stock manufacturing, engineering construction, research institutes and design consultancies, alongside more than 20 industry summits, suited to rail transit value-chain companies.
