Oil & Gas Asia, the Lahore oil and gas exhibition, is a professional trade fair for oil and gas equipment, technology, engineering services and energy investment cooperation. Held in Lahore, Pakistan, it provides a business platform for international and Pakistani companies entering the markets of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia.
The fair showcases technology, equipment and machinery for the oil and gas industry as well as related services, covering exploration and production, oil and gas processing, pipeline engineering, pumps, valves and wellhead components, refining technology, tank manufacturing, inspection and analysis, safety systems, waste treatment and welding equipment, and connecting equipment suppliers, engineering service providers, investors and local partners.
Pakistan is rich in oil and gas resources, with sedimentary basins covering about 825,000 square kilometres. The government has made oil and gas a growth engine and pursues investment-friendly policies, setting targets including up to 100 wells drilled per year within ten years, reducing refined product imports to 90% of total consumption, and adding more than 6 million tonnes of refining capacity per year, creating project cooperation and market expansion opportunities for equipment and engineering service companies. The current edition brings together 80 exhibitors and attracts 12,000 visitors.
