2027 Malaysia International Jewellery Fair
Edition30 A Malaysian jewellery fair for jewellery traders, buyers and retail channels.
The Malaysia International Jewellery Fair (MIJF) is a jewellery industry show held in Kuala Lumpur, serving the Southeast Asian jewellery trade market and bringing together jewellery manufacturers and suppliers with wholesalers, distributors, retailers and buying agents from within and beyond the region.
Exhibits cover gold bars, ingots and coins, gold chains, gold jewellery, fine gold jewellery, high jewellery, diamond jewellery, gemstones, precious metals and silver jewellery, as well as jewellery settings, clasps, processing equipment and tools, packaging and display, testing and measuring instruments, and supply chain and marketing management technology.
Visitors are mainly wholesalers, distributors, retailers, jewellery designers, importers and exporters, buying agents, dealers, industry associations, educational institutions and media; the fair offers business matching to help exhibitors reach potential buyers, investors and distributors, and uses Malaysia's position as a regional trading hub to access markets including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Middle East.
Malaysia levies no import or export duty on gold bars and jewellery, products qualifying as investment precious metals remain tax-free, and gold jewellery is exempt from sales and service tax; the local gold and silver jewellery manufacturing and trading base is well established, giving exhibitors conditions to present new products, technology and design to regional sourcing demand.
