plastprintpack Ethiopia - International Plastics, Printing and Packaging Trade Show 2027

plastprintpack Ethiopia is an international trade exhibition for the plastics, printing and packaging industry chain, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, now in its 9th edition, focused on plastics raw materials, processing equipment, printing technology, paper and packaging production, packaging machinery, packaging materials, recycling technology and supporting services.

The exhibition covers the complete value chain from plastics processing to printing and packaging production: the plastics strand includes raw materials and processing technologies such as blow moulding, extrusion and injection moulding; the printing, paper and tissue strand brings together material and technology suppliers; the packaging strand covers packaging materials and equipment; and the recycling strand presents recycled materials and technology. Exhibit areas include plastics technology, plastics raw materials, packaging, printing paper and tissue, and recycling.

Ethiopia has a population of about 140 million, and its manufacturing sector continues to expand in areas such as food and beverages, construction, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, household goods and consumer products, driving rising demand for modern plastics, printing, packaging and processing solutions, while most raw materials and advanced processing equipment rely on imports, creating market opportunities for international machinery, material and technology suppliers.

The exhibition is co-located with agrofood Ethiopia and jointly organized by fairtrade Messe and local partner Prana Events, with pavilions from Brazil, China, India, Italy, the United Arab Emirates and others. The previous edition's concurrent show series together welcomed 152 exhibitors from Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East and received 4,315 professional visitors from Ethiopia and surrounding markets; exhibitors came from 18 countries and visitors from 52 countries and regions.
