Middle East Games Con 2022 took place from 4 to 6 March 2022 at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi as the Gaming Zone within Middle East Film & Comic Con. The event was positioned as a regional gaming festival serving players, creators, and fan communities across the Middle East.
Its programme combined esports, special guests, exclusive reveals, gaming awards, and fan engagement, while also extending into tabletop activities, cosplay, indie participation, Artist Alley, and creator-focused content. The overall format was closer to an integrated entertainment festival than a trade-only exhibition.
