analytica Shanghai (analytica China) is an international professional expo for analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology, held in Shanghai, focused on laboratory-related equipment, technology, applications and services. analytica holds exhibitions in the global analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology field, and the China edition is its subsidiary show in China, bringing together analysis, diagnostics, laboratory technology and biotechnology companies from major industrial countries worldwide.
The expo covers food safety equipment and technology, laboratory equipment and technology, environmental monitoring equipment and technology, analysis, analysis and quality control, life sciences, and biotechnology and diagnostics, presenting instruments, equipment, new technology and solutions. Held every two years, it has become an important analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology expo and networking platform in Asia since its founding.
The analytica China International Symposium, the Shanghai Laboratory Planning, Construction and Management Conference and a series of workshops are held alongside, organising exchange around laboratory planning and construction, sample preparation, life sciences and biotechnology, diagnostics, and automation and digitalisation.
The most recent edition brought together more than 1200 exhibiting companies from more than 23 countries; it attracted 40106 on-site visitors, of whom 2908 came from overseas. The eight exhibition zones covered nearly 85000 square metres in total.

analytica Shanghai 2026 will be held from November 16 to November 18, 2026.
Visitor opening hours are 09:00-17:00 on November 16, 09:00-17:00 on November 17, and 09:00-16:00 on November 18, 2026.
The event is held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, using halls N1-N5, E6 and E7.
Visitors can take Metro Line 7 to Huamu Road Station for direct access, or take Line 2 to Longyang Road Station and walk about 10 minutes or transfer to Line 7 to Huamu Road Station.
Mainland China visitors print their badge onsite with the registration confirmation code or original ID card and enter with the original ID card at the gate. Overseas, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan visitors complete registration before entry, then print a badge with the confirmation code or collect it at the visitor counter with passport, Hong Kong/Macao permit or Taiwan Compatriot Permit, and scan the badge at the gate.
