Edition9 Showcasing agri-food processing, machinery equipment, and agricultural food supply chains, offering direct access to East African and African agri-food companies, processing factories, and equipment buyers.
agrofood Ethiopia is a specialized exhibition for the agri-food industry chain held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, now in its 9th edition, focused on agriculture, food and beverage technology, food ingredients and the food and hospitality industry, providing a business and sourcing platform for the agri-food sector in Ethiopia and the region.
The exhibition covers every link of the agri-food value chain: it brings together companies in the agricultural sector, presents equipment and technology for modern food and beverage processing, showcases food and beverage ingredients and production solutions, connects packaging material and technology suppliers, and displays finished food and beverages. Exhibit areas include agriculture, food and hospitality, food ingredients, and food and beverage technology.
The exhibition is co-located with the Ethiopica coffee show, which focuses on Ethiopian coffee, as well as Ethiopia food show and plastprintpack Ethiopia, forming a linked platform covering agri-food, food trade, coffee, processing technology and the packaging supply chain, and features national pavilions from Brazil, China, Italy and others, jointly organized by fairtrade Messe and local partner Prana Events.
The previous edition's concurrent show series together welcomed 152 exhibitors from 18 countries and received 4,315 buyers and industry professionals from 52 countries and regions, reflecting the growth potential of Ethiopia's agri-food industry and regional procurement demand.

agrofood & plastprintpack Ethiopia, Ethiopia food show and Ethiopica coffee show take place from 20 to 22 May 2027 at the AICC – Addis International Convention Center in Addis Ababa.
Registration has not been opened yet; it will officially open around eight to six weeks before the start of the show.
Pre-registration gives free, fast track entry. The digital badge is sent directly to the registration inbox and can be printed at home and brought to the show for an individual badge on-site; visitors can have the registration email with the barcode open to be scanned at the entrance area.
Companies that want to exhibit can contact the organiser to start their participation; the responsible contact person sends the hall plan and calculation and guides them through the following steps.
