Yes, BIOFACH is a pure trade fair, to which only trade visitors from the fields of organic food, organic drinks and organic non-food products are admitted. The exhibition is not open to the public on any day. This enables us to secure the quality of the offer for visitors and exhibitors. Read more about this in the section on admission requirements and proof of eligibility.
Yes, children and young people can visit BIOFACH. Admission for children and young people is regulated in the following way: 0 to and including 12 years: free of charge, without legitimation 13 up to and including 15 years: reduced ticket for 30 EUR without legitimation. The reduced ticket is available on site at the cash desk only. Young people aged 16 and older: must register/legitimize as a trade visitor and pay the regular price. For children over 3, you can use our free childcare service, which is in Room Basel (NCC Mitte, Level 1). The trained staff is happy to look after your children there during your visit.
At BIOFACH it is not allowed to bring pets for hygienic reasons, as it is a food fair. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are, of course, an exception to this rule.
You can simply enter "Nürnberg". The dynamic traffic guidance system will guide you past all the queues to a vacant parking space. Alternatively, please use the following address: "Karl-Schönleben-Strasse, 90471 Nürnberg" or the special destination "Messe".
There are enough parking spaces on-site. Our parking guidance system guides you to the vacant parking spaces; the daily charge is EUR 14. Parking spaces for disabled people are located near the entrances. Barrier-free access The exhibition venue is accessible to wheelchair users. Within walking distance of the exhibition centre, there is a camp site (KNAUS Campingpark Nuremberg), at which exhibition visitors who come with a caravan can rent pitches. No caravans can be parked on the site of the exhibition centre Nuremberg itself.

Yes, there are lockers in the entrance areas "Mitte" and "Ost". Use of these is free of charge. The coin that you have to insert to lock the lockers serves as a deposit and will be returned. Trolleys and suitcases can also be handed in at the coat check at a charge of EUR 3 each.
