ISFA International Student Fairs Africa Mombasa 2027
Edition24 An East African student recruitment fair focused on undergraduate, postgraduate and foundation programmes for internationally minded students and education providers.
ISFA International Student Fairs Africa Mombasa is an international student and careers fair for the East African market, connecting students who intend to study abroad with international education institutions, with a focus on foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment. Held in East Africa over many years, the current edition is the 24th and takes place across multiple locations in Uganda and Kenya, with exchange and sightseeing activities between Nairobi and Mombasa.
The fair brings together participants from countries across Africa, Europe, Asia and North America as well as study-abroad promotion agencies, welcoming students, parents and education counsellors. Recruitment focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and extends to vocational qualifications, language learning and related study pathways; main subject areas cover business and finance, medicine and related sciences, information technology, engineering, hospitality management, humanities, law, science, MBA and distance learning, with strong demand for STEM, business and health sciences.
Promotion runs through Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, television and radio, alongside a partner network of schools, universities and education professionals. Students weigh scholarships and funding, work experience during study, international outlook, course quality, affordability, cultural fit and education-to-employment pathways when choosing where to study.
Exhibitors include higher education institutions, language and secondary education providers, vocational and foundation course providers, and scholarship and funding bodies. Kenyan students show strong interest in higher education abroad, with the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe as the main destinations of interest, while China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and India in Asia are also expanding options, making the fair suited to organisations active in student recruitment, institutional promotion and international education cooperation.
