Edition34 An international security forum for research and practice in network and distributed system security.
NDSS Symposium 2027 is a professional conference in network and distributed system security, organised by the Internet Society and held in Seoul, Korea, focused on practical system design and implementation in security research.
Addressing research and practice in network and distributed system security, the symposium drives information exchange between academia and industry through technical paper presentations, a poster session, keynotes and Q&A. Several specialist security workshops and seminars are held alongside.
Each edition schedules about 120 peer-reviewed paper presentations, a poster session and keynotes from security practitioners. Participants include university researchers and educators, technology and privacy officers, security analysts and system administrators, and operations and security managers, with attendance kept controlled to encourage full exchange.
Beyond technical presentations, the symposium has a Test of Time Award recognising papers from past editions with lasting impact, and a fellowship programme to develop young security research talent. All accepted papers, posters and presentations are made open to everyone after the event to support the dissemination and application of research.
