The China International Industrial Furnace & Thermal Engineering Technology Expo is a specialised exhibition focused on industrial furnaces, heat treatment equipment and thermal engineering technology, held in Shanghai. One of the nine themed shows of the MTM Metal World Expo, it is presented alongside themed shows on the metallurgical industry, refractories, casting and forging, the steel pipe industry, metal wire, titanium/magnesium/copper, alloy materials and metal cutting.
The expo displays industrial kilns and heat treatment furnaces of all kinds, including controlled atmosphere batch furnaces, vacuum furnaces, box furnaces, pusher furnaces, rotary hearth furnaces, roller hearth furnaces, bogie hearth furnaces, pit furnaces, salt bath furnaces, fluidised bed furnaces, gas furnaces, walking beam furnaces, as well as atmosphere furnaces, carburising furnaces, gas nitriding furnaces, isothermal quenching furnaces, solution and ageing furnaces, brazing furnaces, pressure welding furnaces, drying furnaces and plasma diffusion heat treatment equipment.
The thermal engineering supporting section covers burners, temperature control systems, heating elements and insulation materials, as well as technologies, devices and equipment for saving energy, reducing consumption and protecting the environment, focusing on electricity, electrical and energy efficiency directions and on efficient, energy-saving industrial furnace applications for metallurgy, petrochemicals, power, building materials, environmental protection, light industry and electronics.
Aimed at strengthening collaboration among raw material, product and equipment companies, the expo brings together companies in industrial furnaces, heat treatment, casting, forging, non-ferrous die casting and the steel industry, with concurrent forums and seminars on eco-development of the steel industry, high-quality development of refractories, the steel pipe industrial chain, and industrial furnace and thermal engineering technology, providing a setting for industry exchange and technology sharing.

The exhibition is held in Halls W1, W2 and W3 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Exhibits include heat-treatment, vacuum, box, pusher and continuous furnaces, plus energy-efficient industrial furnaces and thermal technologies for metallurgy, foundry and forging applications.
Raw space is USD 350 per sqm with a 24 sqm minimum; standard booths are USD 400 per sqm with a 9 sqm minimum.
