Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo 2027
Edition15 Covering tourism resources, destinations, and outbound travel services, where exhibitors meet Macau and international travel agencies and tourism organizations.
The Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo is Macao's only international travel trade exhibition, hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office; held continuously since it was founded in 2013, it combines mainland Chinese and international tourism resources and follows a three-way, multi-party cooperation principle among Macao, mainland China and international markets, providing a platform for exhibitors, buyers and partners to meet and exchange.
Centred on cross-sector integration of tourism with culture, sport, cuisine, wellness, ecommerce and technology, it features sections such as the Silk Road and Halal Products Pavilion, the Cultural and Creative Attraction Zone, the Asia-Pacific Culinary Culture Gathering, the Travel Technology Hall and the Low-Altitude Economy Pavilion, and organises signature performances, trade matchmaking, specialist seminars, presentations and project signings.
The Travel Technology Hall gathers technology companies to display frontier travel technology products and services, while the Low-Altitude Economy Pavilion presents application scenarios such as urban air mobility and low-altitude tourism. The expo also brings in companies in general health and traditional Chinese medicine and, through a one-expo-two-locations model, holds the Healthy Traveller Forum in Hengqin to advance tourism plus general health industry cooperation.
To attract younger audiences, the expo features the Cultural and Creative Attraction Zone, bringing together local cultural and creative IP and specialty workshops, and launches a tourism mascot IP licensing programme. The expo covers more than 30,000 square metres and expects more than 40,000 attendees, with on-site conferences and activities broadcast globally.
