You can find an overview of our service offerings in our Service-ABC.
Our exhibition grounds offer a large selection of restaurants, snack bars, bistros, self-service and take-away facilities. Further information is available in our Service-ABC.
You may bring your own food in a backpack.
To make your visit pleasant, effective and successful, Messe Düsseldorf has created several service facilities for people with disabilities. Further information is available on the relevant page.
For the sake of the animals, we cannot recommend bringing dogs onto the exhibition grounds, as they are not designed for animals. It is not prohibited, however. Dogs are not permitted at medical trade fairs. If a dog is brought along, the owner is responsible for cleaning up waste. Bag dispensers are located at the outdoor entrances and drinking bowls in front of the outdoor catering area inside the grounds. Assistance dogs (such as guide dogs, signal dogs for the hearing-impaired or service dogs for people with physical or mental impairments) may of course always be brought along.
Please note that you do NOT need an invitation letter from the trade fair company to apply for a Schengen visa at the German embassy or consulate. This rule changed in September 2013. A person travelling to the fair as a visitor should submit a visitor admission eTicket, which can be purchased online. For further visa questions, please contact our colleagues in your country.
At our trade fair medical station, standard wheelchairs (free of charge) and electric wheelchairs (EUR 20) can be rented during all fairs. The wheelchairs are loadable up to a maximum of 100 kg. Standard and electric wheelchairs are available only in limited numbers, so advance booking is strongly recommended. This is possible from about 3 days before the start of the respective event via rollstuhlverleih@messe-duesseldorf.de. Rental coupons for electric scooters (EUR 20) can be purchased at the fair ticket office and exchanged for an electric wheelchair at the medical station. The medical station is located at the North entrance (Hall 7, ground floor).
Throughout the fair, you can deposit clothing and luggage from 1.5 hours before the official start until one hour after the fair closes. The cloakrooms are located at the entrances. Use of the cloakrooms is free of charge.
Yes, bringing one suitcase or trolley onto the exhibition grounds is permitted.
