The HKTDC Hong Kong International Optical Fair is a B2B specialised exhibition for the optical industry, held in Hong Kong. It uses an online-merge-offline model combining a physical exhibition with the Click2Match smart business matching platform, giving eyewear manufacturing, brand, accessories and optometry equipment companies a channel for sourcing and distribution connections.
Organised around the theme "Exhibitions Without Borders, Connections in the New Normal", the fair covers eyewear frames, lenses and parts, contact lenses and accessories, optometry instruments, eyewear accessories, and binoculars and magnifiers, and features zones including smart glasses, the Brand Name Gallery, children's eyewear, sustainable eyewear and custom eyewear, presenting brand and designer collections and new products such as smart translation glasses.
The fair includes activities such as the Hong Kong Eyewear Design Competition, offering the industry a window on design trends and new products, and provides information on technical topics such as nickel release standards for frames and sunglasses. The 2025 edition brought together 662 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions and welcomed 11,666 visitors from 92 countries and regions. Hong Kong is one of the world's major exporters of eyewear and frames, with the European Union and the United States as its main export markets.
