AgTech China

AgTech is the agricultural technology section under the China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC), held in Shanghai, China. It organises display and exchange around modern agricultural technology, covering smart agriculture, intelligent greenhouses, precision irrigation and the seed industry.

The show features four themed zones — smart agriculture and intelligent equipment, intelligent greenhouses and controlled-environment agriculture, precision irrigation and integrated water-fertiliser management, and germplasm resources and biotechnology. It presents smart farming equipment such as agricultural aircraft and small drones, intelligent fruit-picking and weeding robots, precision fertilisation and seeding monitoring systems, and smart agriculture cloud platforms and integrated control systems.

The controlled-environment agriculture section focuses on greenhouse engineering and complete greenhouse systems, greenhouse materials and frame structures, greenhouse films and plant lighting, and insulation and ventilation temperature control systems, as well as urban agriculture, agritourism, cultivation technology and horticultural supplies. The irrigation section covers water-saving equipment such as sprinkler and micro-irrigation systems, drip irrigation tapes and fittings, automatic control and solar-powered irrigation systems, filters, pump units, valves and sprinklers, and integrated water-fertiliser facilities.

The seed section presents vegetable, flower, grass and forestry seeds with independent intellectual property rights that are available for export. The show links with the crop protection, fertiliser, and agrochemical equipment and crop protection equipment sections of the CAC system, and hosts a number of international forums on topics such as smart agriculture, intelligent agricultural machinery, digital seed industry, greenhouse operations and irrigation solutions.
