A Belgian horeca trade fair covering foodservice equipment, food and drink, and hospitality design for restaurant operators, buyers and channel brands.
Horeca Expo Ghent is a professional trade fair covering every segment of the hospitality and foodservice industry, held in Ghent, Belgium. It brings catering operations, food and drink, hotel spaces and kitchen solutions together, offering the industry a setting for exchange and cooperation.
The fair gathers more than 600 exhibitors and about 47000 trade visitors, from established brands to newcomers, presenting new products and trends in drinks and food, with a focus on coffee, tea, confectionery, ice cream and bakery products, equipment and accessories. It also covers a broad choice of kitchens from small to large, and kitchen solutions ranging from high-efficiency cooking ranges to new dishwashing equipment.
A dedicated hall for the hotel and accommodation section covers sleep and seating, bathroom, wellness and fitness, lobby, bar and restaurant spaces, with furniture, equipment, decoration and accessories. Hotel, catering and spatial design content focuses on equipment configuration and space planning, while the food and drink section emphasises health and artisanal character and extends to services such as mobile apps and recruitment.
Cooking competitions, keynote talks, masterclasses, workshops and cooking demonstrations run alongside, allowing exhibitors to present innovations and visitors to connect with suppliers and build business contacts. Belgian brewing resources are showcased, extending to drink supply for clubs and nightlife, while snack and fast-food operators can also find suitable solutions. The 36th edition was held successfully, and this edition continues the established exhibition structure.
