Saudi HORECA Riyadh is an annual B2B professional exhibition for Saudi Arabia's hospitality, foodservice, food and beverage industry, held in Riyadh and bringing together local and international exhibitors, hoteliers, restaurateurs, chefs, suppliers and channel buyers.
Exhibits cover food and beverages, bakery and desserts, coffee and tea, kitchen and catering equipment, hospitality services, packaging, hygiene and safety and logistics, with areas for bakery and confectionery, coffee and tea, packaging and food safety, and catering equipment and food and beverages, providing purchasing and supply matchmaking for hotels and foodservice businesses.
On-site activities include cooking demonstrations, barista competitions, a Mocktail competition and HORECA Talks; the HORECA brand runs events in places such as Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Riyadh and Jeddah, forming a regional hospitality and foodservice network.
Saudi Arabia's food and beverage market is among the larger markets in the Middle East, at around USD 45 billion; household food and beverage spending is around 18% of total spending, and local demand makes up around 60% of relevant Gulf Cooperation Council consumption. Continued hotel and leisure tourism investment offers opportunities for food and beverage, hotel equipment and foodservice supply chain companies.
